Jan Mayen

I visited Jan Mayen during the summer of 2015 as part of a larger research project investigating the climate and glaciation history of Jan Mayen. My aim with the fieldwork was to sample boulders for cosmogenic surface exposure dating which will be used to reconstruct the glacial stages on the island. More information on the project can be found at the Norwegian Geological Survey's project website.
